Shipping Policy
Last Updated: July 25, 2025
1. Introduction
This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to the shipment and delivery of products for our business-to-business (B2B) clients. Oracle Aagro Industries is committed to providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions for our international partners. This policy applies to all wholesale and bulk orders placed with us.
2. Order Processing & Lead Times
Order Confirmation: All orders are processed upon the mutual agreement of terms and the confirmation of payment as per the sales contract.
Lead Time: Lead times for order preparation vary depending on the product, order volume, and specific sourcing requirements. An estimated lead time will be provided during the quotation and sales process.
Communication: Your dedicated sales or logistics representative will keep you informed of the status of your order throughout the preparation and processing stages.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping Methods: We arrange shipments globally via standard international freight methods, including:
Sea Freight: For large volume, non-urgent shipments (FCL - Full Container Load & LCL - Less than Container Load).
Air Freight: For time-sensitive and high-value shipments.
Freight Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the order volume, weight, destination port, and the agreed-upon Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF). All freight charges will be itemized and included in your final invoice.
Delivery Timelines: Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on the shipping method, destination, and customs clearance processes. We will provide an estimated transit time once the shipment is booked. Oracle Aagro Industries is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our direct control.
4. International Shipping, Customs & Duties
Export Documentation: Oracle Aagro Industries will provide all necessary standard export documentation, including but not limited to the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, and Certificate of Origin. Any additional specific documentation required by the importing country must be requested in advance.
Importer Responsibilities: The buyer ("importer") is solely responsible for:
Ensuring that the products can be legally and safely imported into their country.
All costs associated with customs clearance in the destination country, including any import duties, taxes, tariffs, and brokerage fees.
Customs Clearance: While we provide the necessary export documents, the buyer is responsible for handling the customs clearance process in their country. We recommend working with a reputable customs broker to ensure a smooth process.
5. Shipment Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide you with the relevant tracking information, such as the Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB) number, along with the carrier details. This will allow you to monitor the status of your shipment.
6. Inspection, Damages, and Discrepancies
Inspection upon Arrival: We strongly advise that you inspect your shipment immediately upon its arrival at your designated port or facility.
Reporting Issues: Any claims for damages, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported to your Oracle Aagro Industries representative in writing within 7 business days of receiving the shipment.
Required Documentation: To process a claim, you must provide a detailed description of the issue, photographic evidence of any damage, and copies of the relevant shipping documents (e.g., signed delivery receipt noting the damage). Failure to report issues within the specified timeframe may result in the claim being denied.
7. Policy Modifications
Oracle Aagro Industries reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
